Auguste Rodin – Myths and Methods

On this tour, we delve into these ambiguous sculptures and Rodin’s special fascination with antiquity.
We also shed light on how the artists working in Rodin’s studio were essential to his artistic practice.
The Glyptotek houses a unique collection of sculptures created by the French artist Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). The twisted bodies, unfinished, rough surfaces, and fragmented forms of the sculptures invite us into a universe full of interpretations and contrasts.

Please book the tour no later than 14 days in advance through the website. This private tour costs 1.100 DKK The price does not include admission to the museum. Please note that groups must arrive and pay together in order to be given group discount on their price of admission.
