Experiences for Children
Exciting activities are awaiting children and their grown-ups

The Children's Glyptotek
At the Glyptotek, children and adults are equally small under the great dome – and equally fascinated by the sculptures and the thousand-year-old stories they tell.
The museum is large. What should you do? Get inspiration for you visit.

Weekend in the Winter Garden
Every weekend: Saturday and Sunday.
Listen to the stories of the statues, unfold your creativity, and explore on your own.
Every Saturday and Sunday between 11 am. and 3 pm., our hosts are ready to welcome you in the Winter Garden.
Here, you can take a break and find small tasks and inspiration to explore the museum on your own.

Glypto Games
May you play at the Glyptotek? Definitely!
We have developed our very own Glypto Games that invite you to experience the art and architecture in new ways, calm down, concentrate, and maybe they’ll also make you laugh. Both children and adults can join in on the fun.
The games can be adapted depending on your mood and the age of the children.
Find the Glypto Games in the Information at the museum.
Listening Stations
Find our listening stations for children around the museum.
In the listening stations, children are invited to put on headphones, listen to stories and learn about the art. The low stations are specifically for children.
Preparation and Practical Tips
It can feel overwhelming to be at a museum if you constantly have to tell your child not to touch, run, shout, etc.
Therefore, it can be a good idea to prepare before the visit.

Season Ticket for Children
Children can get their own season tickets and explore the museum as well as the many children’s activities as often as they like – and bring an adult of their choice for free each time!
You can get the season ticket for children under 18+ 1 guest at the Ticket Counter at the museum or online.
