Behind the Façade – Discover the Architecture of the Glyptotek

The tour takes a close look at the materials, mosaics and colours and hear stories about the three different buildings that make up the museum today.

Its building is the Glyptotek’s greatest work. An architectural monument in the heart of Copenhagen, the building provides an extraordinary setting for the museum’s artworks and objects – exactly as Carl Jacobsen wanted it to be.

Booking and Prices

Please book the tour no later than 14 days in advance through the website. This private tour costs 1.100 DKK The price does not include admission to the museum. Please note that groups must arrive and pay together in order to be given group discount on their price of admission.
